Documents you open, edit, convert, scan or save are processed on your device. We do not upload your files to our servers and there is no sign-up or account system. Recent files and bookmarks are stored only on your device.
When you use AI tools (Summarize, Key points, Translate, AI Assistant), the text of the selected document or your question is sent over an encrypted connection to our server (Google Firebase, project hosted in the EU) and forwarded to OpenAI to generate the answer. We do not store the document text or the answer; a daily usage counter is kept to prevent abuse. It is not used by us for any other purpose. OpenAI's handling is described at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. If you do not use AI tools, no document text leaves your device.
The camera is used only when you scan a document. Scanned images are saved on your device.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address and usage data to show and measure ads. See policies.google.com/technologies/ads. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in device settings. On iPhone and iPad the app asks for your permission through App Tracking Transparency before the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used; if you decline, only non-personalised ads are shown. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Pro subscribers do not see ads.
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). We do not receive or store your payment details. To unlock Pro, the app sends the purchase token (Android) or transaction ID (iOS) to our server, which verifies it with Google Play or Apple and stores the product, its status and its expiry date together with a random anonymous app ID created by Google Firebase Authentication. Google Play and Apple also notify our server when a subscription renews, expires, is cancelled or refunded, so Pro access is turned off when it ends. PDF Plus Pro is an auto-renewing subscription; it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period and can be managed in your Google Play or Apple ID account settings. On iOS the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Uninstalling the app removes all app data stored on your device. Our server keeps only the anonymous app ID, subscription status and daily AI usage counter described above; no documents and no name or email address. To have this record deleted, write to us from the store account you used and we will remove it within 30 days. For questions write to ytsoftbilisim@gmail.com.
